1) Extract the "october.zip" file and upload the extracted folder to the "../wp-content/themes/" folder on your server.

2) On WordPress Admin Panel, go to "Appearance > Themes" and click the "Add New" button at the top of the page. Then click "Upload Theme" button. Select "october.zip" file and click "Install Now" button.

After uploading the theme, you need to activate it. Go to "Appearance > Themes" page and click October's "Activate" button. Installation completed!

Finally, you have to install the recommended plugin "October", that allows you to add services, clients, works, team members and testimonials. Remember to activate it (as you can see in the screenshots below). You will find your installed plugins in "Plugins > Installed Plugins".

Alternative Importing Method

If the one click demo import does not complete or takes too long, you most likely have a memory limit on your server. Here is another method to try.

STEP 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.

STEP 2 - Go to Tools > Import.

STEP 3 - Click "Install Now" or "Run Importer" (if already installed) button under WordPress (bottom of the list).

STEP 4 - Upload the demo content .xml using the form provided on that page. The .xml file can be found in "inc/demo/content.xml" of the Theme folder. Click "Upload file and import". Do not interrupt/cancel the import process!

STEP 5 - You will be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user.

STEP 5 - You will then have the choice to import attachments, so click on the "Download and import file attachments" box.

STEP 5 - If the import does not fully complete, repeat these steps again as many times as necessary until you receive the Success message.

Setting Sections:

- Site Identity

- Menus

- Widgets

- Additional CSS

- General Settings

- Main Top Settings

- About Settings

- Services Settings

You can add, edit or remove team members, services, projects, clients and testimonials by WordPress Admin Panel, in the related menus.

For example, to add your services go to Services > Add New (as you can see in the screenshot below) and fill the fields. The process is the same also for the other sections.
